Experience Summary

Designed, implemented, and maintained databases for Georgia Tech's OSHA Training Institute and 21D Consultation Program according to the specifications provided by the Department of Labor. Generated reports based on data collection from the databases. Created and maintained Access student database for Lead and Asbestos, OSHA 21D, and OSHA Training Institute programs. Generated rosters, certificates, and student data information for 21D free seminar series. Created and mailed correspondence to students advertising upcoming OTI and 21D seminars. Created 21D marketing material as requested. Provided backup assistance to the Systems Administrator with travel and calendar management for consultants and Department head. Constructed and updated forms for environmental courses. Answered divisional phone lines. Provided technical support for department. Entered data of company information, visit summaries, and hazard correction history.

As Program Coordinator for FemTech, researched grant funding opportunities and write proposals for grant funding of program created to facilitate learning of science, math, and technology with girls ages 10-17. Coordinated activities for FemTech members. Conducted workshops teaching members and mentors how to use Adobe, Macromedia, Corel, and Acid Pro software. Formulates and proofread all correspondence materials as well as devise strategies regarding the recruiting and retention of FemTech members and mentors. Presented FemTech mission topics to prospective clients. Created presentations and marketing material to recruit mentors, members, and to solicit grant funding.

Current Fields of Interest

Creation of databases meant to make the working environment more efficient while also creating reports via data extraction in an effort to make the Consultation Program as effective as possible.
