One-Hour Training Video

The information contained in this video presentation was current as of the January 2009 recording date. At that time, the presentation focused on how to prepare for a future influenza pandemic; there was no influenza pandemic in January 2009.

In April 2009, Influenza A H1N1 (swine flu) emerged, and a global influenza pandemic was declared in June 2009. Most preparedness activities described in this video presentation remain accurate recommendations; however, for the most current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations and industry-specific guidance, please visit www.flu.gov or www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu.

The instructors in the video are Hilarie Schubert Warren and Michelle Dunham, who are industrial hygienists with the Georgia Tech Safety and Health Consultation Program. Ms. Warren was manager of the Susan Harwood Grant program that developed this training.
